Join us for a great day out – Saturday 29th of October 2022
We will meet at Bunnings Mornington Carpark at 1.45pm, where you can grab a snag in bread before our 2.15pm departure.
After we leave Bunnings, we’ll drive down to the Esplanade where the narrow road hugs the coastline tightly through Mornington, then around the clifftop road at the foot of Mount Martha before it delivers us to the strands of Safety Beach. A short cruise along Marine Drive and onto Point Nepean Road before we head inland, climbing the scenic Mountain Road to the Summit of Arthur’s Seat.
We expect to arrive at Charlie’s Auto Museum at Arthurs Seat at 3pm. This is a car museum housing a unique collection of over 80 motor vehicles, memorabilia, model cars & automobile paraphernalia. From here we will head to Seawinds Gardens at approx 4pm. Located near the summit of Arthurs Seat, the gardens offer spectacular views over Port Phillip Bay.
At 5.15pm we will make our way down to the Dromana Pier and Foreshore Reserve for a feast of Fish and Chips by the sea. After dinner, we can take a stroll along the pier before making our way to the Dromana Drive-In to re-live the classic era when drive-in’s were hip. Bring your favourite guy or gal, and bring the kids! Look forward to see you all then.
