This is our Annual General Meeting where our new committee will be decided, as well as an overview of how our year has been and a look into the future of the club.
Meet at the Grandview Hotel (429 Heidelberg Rd, Fairfield) 7:30pm in the upstairs meeting room, stairs are located next to the TAB.
Make sure you are there so you can have your say on how our club will be run over the next year.

The President’s responsibility is to in general terms manage the operations of the club and its members. The President is also responsible to act as Chairperson at General Meetings and to ensure that the meetings are run and operated efficiently. the President is also responsible to be the head of any sub committees and to also take the leadership role in club activities in respect to overseeing the organisation of the events and mentor members accordingly
The Vice President’s responsibility is to enable back up to the President in all activities and to take on all of the roles in the absence of the President
The secretary is responsible for the taking of, collating, production and distribution of minutes from club meetings, attending to inwards and outwards correspondence and to assist the President and Vice President in their responsible activities and to assist in any other club activities
The Treasurer’s responsibility is to administer all of the banking requisites of the club and maintaining suitable accounting records and to produce up to date reports for meeting and if required to arrange the financial records to be audited from time to time and to assist in any other club activities
The responsibility of the Membership Secretary as the name implies is to maintain all the club records pertaining to membership in keeping with the requirements of the Privacy Act and to assist in any other club activities
Club Media Manager:
This position is responsible to maintain the club’s media activities and to assist in the production of brochures and flyers in respect to various club activities as well as the compilation and production of the club’s newsletter and SMS notifications to members regarding meetings, events and club activities
The role of the Events Secretary is to administer and oversee all events that the Club is involved with. These events include the Club’s Annual Show and Shine, the All Japan Swap Meet, Cruise Days, Social activities such as lunches, dinners, bar be ques, Christmas break up etc. and to assist the committee members in any other club activity
Club Permit Scheme Officer:
The Club Permit Scheme Officer is responsible to the members in respects of the requirements of the Scheme as set by Vicroads and is required to maintain the Club Permit Scheme Register and to oversee the initial installation of new vehicles to the Scheme as well as oversee renewals. This position also includes the responsibility of ensuring the safety of all members during any club events and to ensure that all safety procedures are followed accordingly
The Club’s Public Officer is responsible to administer all affairs of the club in respect to requirements to do with renewal of CAMS Affiliation and Annual Returns to ASIC as required as well as assist in any other club activities
General Committee Members:
The Club basically requires at least three (3) members to become General Committee Members with no specific responsibilities other than to assist where required any or all of the main Committee members in their activities and responsibilities
